-EDWARD CARNEY(KEARNEY) m ANN McDERMOTT 1872 in Braidwood IL. Moved to Canaryville area of Chicago IL, both died by 1903.
-HUGH CARNEY(KEARNEY) m. ELIZABETH McDERMOTT 1875 IN Braidwood IL. She married THOMAS ALLEN in 1888 in Presbyterian Church in Wilmington IL. She moved to Canaryville area of Chicago IL abt 1896, where she may have married WILLIAM LAWLER.
-- Both Ann and ELIZABETH ran boardinghouses on Halsted St. across from the gates of the Chicago Stock Yards.
---Children of ANN: JAMES, MICHAEL THOMAS, EDWARD, JOHN,LUCY MAY and MARGARET.
---cHILDREN OF elizabeth:JOHN JAMES, MARGARET, FRANCIS(FRANK) and fourth child name unknown.
