Mary Catherine Carney was born ca. 1887 in Watertown, MA, according to census records and her marriage certificate. She married Joseph Arthur Powers 26 Feb 1906 in Cambridge, MA. Joseph and Mary had two known sons: Joseph A. (b. ca 1908) and Ralph Francis (b. 1910).

On the marriage certificate, Mary Catherine lists her parents as Edward W. Carney and Catherine Moore. In the 1920 census, Mary Catherine Carney Powers indicates that her father was born in Massachusetts and her mother was born in Ireland.

I would love to find any others researching this family, and would really like to find any Carney cousins off this line.
