We would need to know a bit more about the original poster's family that she know about before knowing which parsons/carney connection is correct, if either. I'm a descendant of a Mary Parsons who married a Thomas Carney (the same one that Marieda Edens is also descended from). That marriage occurred in the late 1700's.
