I am a descendant of Elijah Carney and my step-grandmother was a descendant of Vincent Carney. I have cousins searching for data on John Carney of Mississippi, believing him to be the John Carney of Davidson County. All efforts to find mention of Elijah and Vincent in VA and NC records have produced no results. I have data on descendants of both if you are interested. I am now considering searching other seabord and southern states. Would you like to work together in "process of elimination"?????
