Hi,I am looking for family of my paternal grandmother Mary(OConnell)Sutherland who emigrated from Miltown Malbay,IRE. to the Boston/Brookline area around 1911.Her parents were John and Mary(Ryan) OConnell. She had several siblings that also emigrated,Ellen(Keenan),Delia(Kellher),Sarah(McNamara),John OConnell,Micheal OConnell and a Susan(Carney)who I believe may have lived in the Quincy area.Another brother William stayed in Ireland and we believe that the surname Ahearn may now be in Williams line. My grandmother Mary married Alexander Sutherland(who emigrated fron Scotland)in 1913 at St.Cecelias in Boston.They had two sons Alexander J.(b.1921)and Leo Francis(b.1923).Mary married a protestant and her catholic family was not too pleased and contact was soon lost. I am trying to locate as much info as I can and if any of this sounds familiar I would appreciate a reply. Thanks.
