I just found my first CARNEY family member and don't have much to go on.
She was Catherine CARNEY b.June 1, 1809 in Kentucky and died Oct. 4, 1864 probably in Indiana. She was married to William D. Patrick.
Children of Catherine CARNEY and William Patrick are:
i.Julia Franklin PATRICK, b. February 06, 1833, Indiana; d. June 14, 1910.
ii.James PATRICK, b. Abt 1832; m. Elizabeth J. LAWRENCE.
iii.William L. PATRICK, b. Abt 1837, Indiana; m. Margaret A. UPDIKE.
iv.Irene PATRICK, b. Abt 1842; m. Henry HINCHMAN.
v.Mariah I. PATRICK, b. Abt 1846.
vi.Mary A. PATRICK, b. Abt 1848.
vii.Mira J. PATRICK, b. Abt 1852; m. George W. CARTER.

Any help would be appreciated including leads on other CARNEY's in Kentucky.
