andreww carney was mu great grandfather. he was born in 1886. his father's name was james s careny and his mother was luncinda honea. the 1920 census records show they were living in lumpkin county at this time. james s carney father's name was william a carney and his mother name was melinda (no maiden name. william and melinda according to the 1880 census was in dawson county. william was born in south carolina in 1841. i hope this might help you.
