Elijah DeMoss Carney is also my GGGGrandfather, with 1st wife Marcilla Brandon. Emily Carney, his daughter, is my GGGrandmother. His second wife was Elizabeth Sykes. I have also tried to connect the family, and have not succeeded. I would like to know who Elijah's father, and siblings, etc, are for sure. Did they come from SC? If so, I live in SC, and could do further research in the archives... Nothing is for sure except I know the line from Elijah on down..Will help others with what info I have...
