I have been researching the Becker family of Montgomery Co. Ohio. Could the Carneys you refer to be CAREY? My wifes maiden name was Carey from Randolph Twp. Montgomery Co. Ohio and her Grandmother was a BECKER. All the Beckers in Montgomery Co. seem to be descended from a John Becker B. Dec. 11, 1791 in Bedford Pa. and Died Nov. 20, 1858 in Montgomery Co. Ohio. Most of the Beckers are buried in the Minnich cemetery located just north of Union in Randolph Twp Montgomery Co. Ohio. This was just on the edge of my wifes grandfather CAREYs farm. The names you have g iven as Carney seem to appear in the Carey line. If you think this is possible contact me I have quite a bit of info. on both families.
