Elizabeth Carney & Moses Mayfield

Hello,
I am new to Carney research. The man whom I believe to have fathered my gr grandfather was Moses Mayfield, who md. 2) (or 3) Martha Bradley in Macon Co., NC 1833. Moses had been married previously and had a daughter, Nancy Burnum/Burnham Mayfield b c1826/27. I was recently sent a marriage record for a Moses Mayfield and Elizabeth Carney dated Jan 29, 1826, in East Felicina Parrish, LA. Does anyone have any information about Moses and Elizabeth Carney Mayfield? Or anything about what happened to Elizabeth? The Moses Mayfield of Macon Co., NC was in the War of 1812, received a land grant in Lonoke Co AR in 1820, but I cannot find if he ever lived there. He was stationed in the extreme sw corner of GA, and was possibly at the Battle of New Orleans. Moses was born c1789/90 in Union Co., SC. I found where the Carney's in LA came from Union Dist., SC. Could this be the same Moses?
Thank you for any help.
