My grand mother,Rita (Margaret)? Carney was born around 1918 in County Mayo? Ireland. Her Parents were James Carney and Agnes Swift. She came to New York as a young girl all by her self some where between 1928-1935. She lived with her uncle John Bannon. She married Arthur Lee Wright on 10/31/36. They lived in the Bronx, on Bergen St..They had a son(my father) James Arthur Wright on 12/15/37.. We know that Arthur wouldn't let her take her son with her. We heard that she would stand across the street to watch him play. Then she disappeared, she may have gone back to Ireland or someone said she went to New Jersey. I know as a mother that she could never stop loving my dad. So we want to find her and let her know that Arthur has passed on and we would like to get ot know her. We have a whole nutty group of people for her to meet. We may be nutty, but we're safe. If any one knows ANYTHING, please let me know.
