I'm not if this will help at all, but in my search for my grandmother(Rita Margaret Carney),I have found that she married a man named Arthur Lee Wright in 1936 and they lived at 598 Bergen St. in the Bronx. They had one son(my father),James Arthur Wright in 1937. They divorced in 1941 and we don't know what happened to her after that. One more thing, When she came here as a young girl from Ireland,County Mayo, she came alone and lived with an uncle named John Bannon. We think she was born about 1918 to James Carney and Agnes Swift. I hope some of this information helps. this is like putting together a huge puzzle.
Thank you,
Connie
