My grandmother's birth name is Rita Margaret Carney, born in 1918, to James Carney and Agnes Swift,in County Mayo. She moved to the United States some where around 1928-1935. She was a young girl and lived with her uncle John Bannon. She married Arthur Lee Wright on Oct. 31,1936. They had a son, James Arthur Wright (my father),on Dec. 15,1937. They lived in the Bronx of New York. They were divorced in 1941, that's when she disappeared. She may have gone back to Ireland. We would like her or her family to know that we mean them no harm, we just want to fill in our heritage. Arthur Lee Wright has passed away so there is no reason to fear meeting us. Please let us know something.
