I am trying to find from where in Ireland my ancestor (Michael Carney) came from. He appeared in 1820 in St. Regis, Quebec then in 1822 was in Montreal. His wife was Bridget Butler a daughter of Andrew Butler and Elizabeth O'Connor. He had sisters Margaret (Mrs. Christopher Roach) and Judith (Mrs. James Murray). All four families were in Montreal and later to Rawdon, Quebec. Any body know where in Ireland they all came from?
