Carney Family Genealogy Forum

It's never to late. Maybe there is a connection. Several of my McEldowney reletives moved to Kalamazoo just before and after the Civil War. According to his obit Samuel moved to Monroe Co. abt. 1838. His first child Edward was born in NY, the rest born in MI. Dianna Denton was going to put me in touch with a Micheal Carney who was a direct desendent of Samuel's, but has yet to send me his address. When I was in Monroe in May the archivest at the museum said that someone else had been there resently and was doing Carney look-ups. But I have no idea who that was. Also, I sent back to the museum for some info on Lafayette Carney, son of Sam. Chris sent me 3 photo copied pictures of his family and said that she also had about 8 pages of genealogy info on the Carney family. I have ordered prints and the other info and am awaiting that also. Would love to share what I have so far which is mainly cencus and obituraries. Please Post reply or e-mail me at SeeShell@centurytel.net
