I ran across the Carner family in my tree from the same area and thought you might be interested.
My ancestors married no less then three Carners in the 18th century. Andrias Carner married Sara Diets in 1762, Wilhelmus Diets married Catharine Kermer/Carner in 1782 and Christian Diets married Elizabeth Carner in about 1751. All three Diets' are sons or daughters of Johan Wilhelm Diets. All of this took place in Kingston, Ulster County.
