I know there were Carnal/Carnells in Person
County when my Underdown and Morrow bunch were there as early as 1794--Patrick and Richard Carnell were in St. Lawrence Dist. then. Among the estate records for Carnells
were Moses 1838, Richard 1828 and Robert V.
1849. My Stephen Underdown was mentioned in
something on the Carnells so I have been
interested in them as I am trying to find
related families of my Morrows and other folks in old Orange, Caswell and Person Cos.,
NC.
