Sharon:
Thomas Morrison Carnegie, 1874-1944 and Virginia Beggs 1878-1952 were grandparents to my half brother, Andrew Carnegie III. Thomas Morrison Carnegie was the son of Thomas M Carnegie, younger brother to the steel tycoon, Andrew Carnegie. Thomas, who was also in the Steel business, bought Cumberland Island off the coast of Georgia in 1881. The Andrew Carnegie was great grand uncle to my half brother. I got to know Uncle Morris and Aunt Virginia as a child visiting Cumberland Island in the thirties.
