I am trying to trace my father's half brother his name was James Carnegie b. Angus (Brechin) I think or Arbroath on September 25 1907. My father's name was George Winter. My grandmothers name was Margaret Ann Winter. MS Carnegie.
This James was born before my grandfather and grandmother were married. The father on James emigrated to America as Margaret's father would not allow her to marry the father of James. James went on to be a newspaper editor somewhere in Scotland.
