I have no direct information on your Arminda, but some of the childrens' names you mention are interesting, particularly Lewis Montrose and Sylvester Parr, and may suggest an early connection.

There is reported to be a Sylvester Carnegie, son of David Carnegie 5th Earl of Northesk (Scotland), born January 16, 1731/32 in Scotland and died after 1793. However, as the 5th Earl is reliably reported as having died unmarried, Sylvester must have been an illegitimate son. Sylvester's mother is said to have been Isable Rarety, but I have not been able to confirm that. It is known that Sylvester did not succeed his father as 6th Earl; that title went to David's younger brother George.

Sylvester married (1st) Margaret PETER at St Vigeans, near Arbroath, Angus, on June 20, 1755 and they had 4 children. At least one of his great-grand-children emigrated: Jabez Bunting Carnegie who migrated to Australia about 1860.

Sylvester married (2nd) Clara SHANKS, December 21, 1793 also at St Vigeans, but I have no other information about her.

Montrose together with Arbroath are coastal towns in Angus (sometimes referred to as Forfar), Scotland, with many connections to the Carnegie family.
