Trying to get farther back than my paternal Grandfather William Carnegie of Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Best information I have on him is that he was born April 21, 1866 in Hastings County, Ontario and died October 3, 1938 in Brantford, Ontario. He was Married to Margaret Ann Crossen, born Northumberland County May 18, 1872. Both are buried in Mount Hope Cemetary in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
William Carnegie’s father was apparently also named William and came from Scotland. His Wife was Elizabeth Cook who apparently came from Ireland. I have no dates or other information and the trail seems to stop there. Any help would be appreciated.
