Thanks for the reply. As far as I can tell, Dale Carnegie has no connection to Pittsburgh. The Dale Carnegie official site says he was born in Missouri, and he went to Warrensburg State Teachers College (now University of Central Missouri).

Wikipedia claims his mother was from Missouri and his father from Indiana.

He and Andrew were supposed to be "distant" cousins, so that doesn't mean there was no relationship. But there doesn't seem to be any Pittsburgh connection in his immediate family.
