Margaret Morrison Carnegie's siblings who moved to the Pittsburgh area were: William Morrison, who moved to a farm near E. Liverpool OH; Annie Morrison Aitken (husband Andrew or Thomas Aitken) who lived in Allegheny City; Catherine "Kitty" Morrison Hogan (husband Thomas Hogan) who also lived in Allegheny City.
Cousins of Margaret Morrison Carnegie who moved to western PA are: Thomas Morrison,who changed his name to John Milton when he was naturalized. He first settled in Pittsburgh where he married Agnes Brown and was a successful weaver. He moved to a farm in Cranberry Twp., Venango Co. PA where oil wells were developed. He had 13 children.
John Humbel Morrison, brother of John Milton (Thomas Morrison) emigrated from Scotland on the same ship along with Margaret Morrison Carnegie and her family in 1848. His wife Elizabeth Erskine, and two daughters came with him and they frist settled in Franklin PA where he was a shoemaker. The family then moved to a farm in Cranberry Twp., Vanango Co. PA.
