Andrew Carnegie had one brother, Thomas, born about 1842 in Dunfermline, Fife county. Andrew Carnegie's grandfather, Anddew Carnegie was born about 1769 and married Elizabeth Thom. Their son William, born about1804 was Andrew Carnegie's father.
