Wanted to find out if anyone was connected with my Carnegies and thought I would provide as much detail as I could. Collin Carnegie was born abt 1747 in Brechin Angus Scotland and married Isabel Greig born 1751 in Brechin Angus(sometimes seen as Craig on other boards). Children are Isabel Carnegie b 1773, Jean born 1777,, Agnes born 1775 and Charles b 1784 all in Brechin Angus and then three others born in Farnell Angus James John b 1780 and Eliza born 1790. John Carnegie of this family marries Isobel Pyott and one of his children Catherine Carnegie is born in Rescobie, Angus Scotland in 1806. Catherine Carnegie married Thomas Ritchie in 1831 Forfar Angus Scotland and has sons John and George 1833 and 1835 respectively and then daughter Margaret born in 1845, Margaret Ritchie is my great grandmother .
