Hi,
Does anyone have the lineage of Margaret Morrison?
When I was in Scotland, a registrar tried to help me find my ancestor's family. The only possible match she found came from eastern Scotland. The link is neither proven nor disproven at this time.
Clan Morrison is doing a DNA study of male Morrisons (follows the Y-DNA), and has discovered that there are far more Morrison families than previously imagined. There are currently 100 members, about 60 of whom have found a relationship with another Morrison due to the testing. I have yet to find a match.
I ask you to encouage any male Morrisons that you know to participate in this project. It may help you in your study of Andrew's lineage, as well. More information on this is available at FTDNA, or you may email Ed Holcomb at morrisondna@mindspring.com.
