William Carnegie, Died 1855, Spouse: Margaret Morrison
Their Children:

Andrew Carnegie B Nov. 25, 1835 D Aug. 11/1919, Married Louise Whitfield. They had a daughter, Margaret.
This is the Andrew Carnegie who migrated to America in 1848 to amass a fortune from iron works and become one of America's best known philanthropists.
For some more interesting history on this family, go to the Rennie forum and look up James Rennie B 1685. You'll find a tie in to the John Rennie who was the engineer who built many bridges in England, including the Lond Bridge.
