Dear Carol
I, too, am interested in Andrew carnegie's line. I have a Bertha Sherlock, of Clermont county, Ohio who married Andrew CarnegieII born in Pittsburgh 1870. Since it seems unlikely he was the son of THE Andrew Carnegie, perhaps there were others of this family from whom this Andrew descended. If you run across this, whould you give me a holler?

Also, a man named David wynford Carnegie may be linked to him. Andrew Carnegie had a nephew who married Margaret Thaw, sis to the infamous Harry K. Thaw, husband of Evelyn Nesbitt.

Happy Hunting

Bette
