Excellent list. I am a descendant of John Cormany, whom I believe was the same John you have listed as the son of Joseph Cormany and Eva Frey. I have several small corrections for you, however. I live in Summit Co. OH and very near Lockwood Cemetery in Coventry Twp. where Joseph Cormany and Catherine Palms are buried. Catherine's gravestone has an "s" at the end of her maiden last name. Their son, David Cormany is buried there, also. His date of birth on the gravestone is 12-25-1800. Another discrepancy is the timing of John Cormany's death. Unless my info. is inaccurate, John died younger than you indicated. The info. I have indicates that John wed Rebecca Harter and had many children (too numerous to list) and died when his son, and my g.g. grandfather, Frank Cormany was 4 years of age, and Frank was born in 1855 or 1856, I am not certain, which because his gravestone shows a different year than what is listed in the following reference. An excellent 2-page biography exists on Frank Cormany in CENTENNIAL HISTORY OF SUMMIT COUNTY AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES by W. Doyle written at the turn of the century. It indicates the year of John's death was 1859. One other minor discrepancy. I am aware through the article and through family stories that several years after John's death, Frank Cormany went to live with his uncle Samuel Cormany and Jane Simonds (not Simmons). Samuel and Jane are also buried by Samuel's parents at Lockwood Cemetery, and if I remember correctly, her maiden name is spelled that way on her gravestone.
Have fun in your continued searches.
