The 1870 Jefferson Co. TN census shows David McDaniel, Sarah and children Gennie, Lockey, Michael and Joseph
1880 Roane Co. Rockwood shows David, Sarah, Michael and Joseph - next door is James and Lockey Carmichael and baby girl. My gr gr grandmother Jennie had married Richard Floyd and had my gr grandmother Nolia and her brother Wallace, they are listed in Roane Co. too but mis-named Loyd
1900 Roane Co Rockwood shows Jas W., Lockey and Nora, Christopher C. and Lustisha (listed as son and daughter) but it also shows Lockey is the mother of 1 child with 1 child living which suggests they did adopt Christopher and Lustisha.
1910 Roane Co. Rockwood shows James, Lockey, Nora, Columbus and Lula all listed as daus and son.
I will send you a copy of the affadavit signed by Locky Carmichael (she signed with her mark) when I can get to it, I put my stuff in the closet for Christmas. I will be thrilled to share information.
