I am looking for information about Mauritz E. Carlson (or Carlsson) who was a music teacher at Gustavus Adolpus College in St Peter, Minnesota around 1885. I don´t know whwre or when he was born, but before he came to the college he had been a methodist pastor in St Louis. He married Benedicta (Bengta) Lager, a Swedish widowed missionary and medical doctor, born 1842. Bengta died in 1913 in Chicago. She was Neander Cronholms oldest sister. Neander Cronholm was a well-known lawyer and historian.
I would be happy to know more about Mauritz and Bengta.
