CARLSON Doris Eileen (nee Black) April 1, 1927 - May 20, 2009 On May 20, 2009 our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack, three children, Carolyn (Ken), John, and Bruce (Leanne), 6 grandchildren, Heidi (Curt), Cindy (John), Christina, Ryan (Sarah), Brock and Shelby and 3 great-grandchildren, Jack, Kennedy and Madeline, also sisters, Jean Lang and Winnie Olsen and brother Robert Black (Norma) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her Father and Mother, John and Hetty Black, sisters Hetty Fleury, Mamie Kennett and brothers, Bill Black and Jack Black. We will remember our Mom for her love of her family, her beautiful garden and her kind and caring nature. A special thank you to the Crossroads Hospice for their compassion and care of Mom. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Hospice Society, 101 Noons Creek Drive, Port Moody, BC V3H 5J1. A celebration of Doris' life will be held on June 14, 2009 from 1:00 to 5:00 at Carolyn's home
