Katie....here is what i posted a while back and then Mr Hamilton send me a response which has some info referring to Mabel.
Help...
I am just starting my family genealogy.
My great grandfather's name was Rudolf Carlson Born about 1862 in Sweden.
Rudolf's second wife Hilda was my great grandma.
Rudolf and Hilda had 5 children Clyde, Evar, Grace, Mabel and Alma.
They lived in Kansas.
Rudolf had two brothers Victor and August..
I think Victor's children are Charles, Fredolf, Clarence and Orvid (not sure)
Anyone have links to help me learn more?????

I have been working on the Carlson family. I have the following on Rudolph (as it is spelled on his grave) or Randolph (as it is spelled on his marriage license to his first wife Ida),

m1. June 10, 1890 (per marriage license), Ottawa, Kansas
Ida SWENSON, b. 1867, Sweden; d. 1894, Overbrook, Kansas, buried Union Cemetery (Swedish Cemetery) Osage City, Osage County, Kansas (no listing in list of stones)

[2] Edith, b. October 23, 1892
[3] Ethel, b. 1894
m2. March 10, 1897, Lyndon, Kansas
Hilda ALSTRAND, b. December 24, 1863; d. November 23, 1954
