This is a re-post of a posting I left here on May 1, 2000 (Posting No. 539) that drew no responses. I'm hoping by now there may be someone out there that can lend a clue about the couple named in the book. It would surely be a wonderful genealogical find for any direct descendant of this couple.

"I am searching for rightful heirs to a small booklet titled "Lovers Alway" by FB Meyer presented to Mr. Louis Johnson and Miss Sadie Carlson upon their 1903 marriage in Chicago, IL. It appears this booklet was provided by the officiating Minister. The original entries include the specific date of their marriage, the Minister's signature and the signatures of two witnesses. There are small subsequent entries listing their death dates, and an address in Los Angeles, CA where they apparently resided from 1914 until at least June of 1958. I will be happy to send this item to any family member who can provide proof of sincere interest and knowledge of this couple or family. A few confirmable details will suffice.

This message is also posted on the Johnson Family Forum."
