The Swedes usually write names as day/month/year. I thought people in England and Australia did too, but perhaps not. Maybe you are used to the month/day/year method of writing dates and interpreted 12/7 as December 7 instead of 12 July.
This Anders Gustaf wasn't born 7 December but was born 12 July.
Could the Anders Gustaf below be your Anders Gustaf Carlsson (Karlsson)? His destination was England, he traveled in 1873, and he traveled with his parents and siblings.
