More information is needed to search for "Charles Hjamar Carlson", who would have been Karl/Carl Hjalmar Karlsson/Carlsson in Sweden.
One good place to search for information is the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center which is an archive which has records that are difficult or even impossible to find elsewhere. They have a website but their extensive collection of records is not online.
