I have been looking for immigration info on my great great grandfather Wilhelm Eloff Carlson. He went by William E. Carlson in the US. He was born Feb 6, 1857 in Sweden. Census records indicated he immigrated in 1873. He got married in 1877 to Mary C. Cunningham Stevens, and lived in Rhode Island from there on. He died Feb 18, 1910 in East Providence, RI. Census records also indicate a brother John A. Carlson in RI. I have not been able to find any information on him prior to 1877 and would appreciate any help.
