Hi, My great grandfather's name was Earnest Carlson. I believe he was from Sweden and he was married to Ida, my great grandmother. Earnest & Ida had 5 children: Sadie, Ollie, Hazel(my grandmother), Carl & Roy. Roy was killed around the age of 16 by Sadie's fiance, Max. I have always heard it was accidental. They were cleaning their guns, and Max's went off killing Roy. I have never heard too much about the situation. They all lived in or around the Ballard area in Seattle. I can't remember if I ever met Ollie or not. I have heard a few stories about her and have always thought of her as "quite a character"! I believe I have a couple of Christmas ceramics she painted. My mom always told me she played the piano by ear. She would go to dances, then come home and play every song she heard. I'm sure I know more, but I don't know what your interested in.
