I'm searching for the parents and siblings of Charles Andrew Carlson. Charley Carlson was about two years old when his family came to America from Värmlands Län, Sweden in 1867. He married Ida Olivia Anderson in 1894. Ida immigrated in 1888 from Hycklinge Parish, Östergötlands Län, Sweden. She had two older brothers already living in Meeker Co., MN, when she immigrated. They were Axel Werner Anderson and Andrew Emil Anderson. Ida and Charley were married in Chicago, IL, in March 1894. Sometime between 1895 and 1897, Charles changed his family's surname to Melin. Children born to this union were Ellen Gertrude Melin, Lawrence Herbert Melin, and Herman W. Melin. Any info regarding this family would be appreciated.
