Hey Annie!

Hope u and hubby are well. I recall u want the mother

of James Cates Carlile or Carlisle. I realize this may not be of any help as this site is so incomplete but I searched LA county but no j's there yet (was looking for a gravestone or a reference to parents)

this search on John Carli* in KY got 2 semi-promising ones. If u know some of Johns history, then the John Milbry Carlisle mentions a wife but better....check out the Cemetary name on John S. Maybe u can call and see how many Johns are buried there and if they have a wife attached.....
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSfn=john&GSmn=&GSln=carli&GSiman=1&GSpartial=1&GSbyrel=before&GSby=1818&GSdyrel=all&GSdy=&GScntry=4&GSst=19&GSgrid=&df=all&GSob=n

good luck.

Im searching for the true name and origin of my Carlilses, Captain Dave Carlisle's Parents, David and L*t*s. Its been a brick wall....but there are a few people, I hope ,looking for the same.

all the best, Debstart@yahoo.com
