This E.W. Carlisle is the son of Edmund G. Carlisle and wife, Elizabeth Ann Whatley Carlisle. E.W. Carlisle and wife, Rebecca are buried in the Pleasant Hill cemetery, Bryans Mill, Cass county, TX. This is the line I am from.

I had not checked Genforum in several years-so sorry for the delayed answer.
