I am looking for anyone who might have knowledge of my great grandfather Walter Carling. He was born in Yorkshire England in 1866. He Immigrated to this country in 1892. He was married to Louise Dewhirst, and had one son Alfred Carling. I understand he was a heavy drinker, and had been thrown out of the family by 1900. I believe he was working as a farm hand in Berrian Michigan in 1910. In the 1930s I have heard he worked for a traveling carnival. No one knows what became of him. If anyone has any information about he I would be interested in hearing from you.
