Looking for info related to the following Carlile's (Carlisle, Carolile, Carlilse) that lived in Gainesboro, Jackson County, TN. I have traced them back to ~1811 as follows;
John J. Carlile ~1811 -xxx, married Elizabeth Ellis, children Ellis b. ~ 1833, Newton b. 8/30/1835 d. 2/21/1918
Elizabeth b. ~ 1837, Arminta b. ~ 1841, James C. b. ~ 1844
Elllis Carlile married Sally Sack b. 1833 - , children were Elija b. 1856, Sarelda b. 1859, ? ?, George D. b 4/7/1866 d. 6/9/1934
George D. Carlile married Mary Martelia Stallion (Tealy) b. 10/16/1868 d. 12/19/1936, Children include Arizona Hamilton b. 5/1/1888 d. 11/22/1916, ? ?, Oliver L. b. ~1891 d. ~early 1950's. ? ?
Oliver L. Carlile married Prillie Elizabeth Hooten b. ~1890 d. mid 1970's, children were Rose Barlow b. 11/10/1914, d. 11/16/2004, Ivory Pyron, Lewis Earl b. 4/23/1923, John, b/d 10/8/1925, Norma Smith, Anna Ruth Scantland, Ray
My father is Lewis Earl Carlile. He moved to Michigan after WWII where we live today.
