Richard Carlile b. abt 1814 in England came to US abt 1846 and was a member of the House of Representatives in Wisconsin in 1853 - Milwaukee County, Wisc. He died abt 1854 of ship fever probably in New York. Had daughters Frances (Fannie) and Ella or Ellen (Nellie). Fannie married Leonard Adams Lange in 1868/1869. What happened to Ellen (Nellie) Carlile? In 1880 she was living with her sister Fannie and brother in law Leonard Lange.
