We may be connected. I think my grandfather had a brother, but I am not sure, and he may have settled somewhere in Cedar Rapids. The spelling of Carlile is rather unique. Most of the time I find it is Carlisle.
Also we were related to some Bryants in West Plains Missouri, and some Philpots. I wish I knew more. Our spelling is Carlile . We might be cousins. That would be nice. Most of my fathers family is gone, and I would really like to know more.
