Thanks for the info. I haven't been able to make a connection.

Have you considered the possibility that Persis was do Moses Carly, Sr.? John and Jonathan Meeker and Moses Carly Sr. & Jr. and John Crum(possible namesake for Martinus) are neighbors in Middleburgh in the 1800 census. John Meeker and Moses Sr. are both over 45 yrs so possibly contemporaries.
