Hi, My Great Great Great Grandfather Joseph Carless b. 1807 in Hereford, England. He was a Butcher, JP and Alderman of Hereford. His wife was called Henrietta (?) in Weobley, Hereford. They lived at Aylestone Hill ("Backberry Ho"), Tupsley, Hereford.
As far as I know they had only one child, a son, Robert Carless b. 1844 in Ledbury, Hereford. He inturn married and had a son called Robert Jnr b.1844, Robert Jnr married a Sarah Ann Booth b. 1875. They had 6 kids.
NB. I have also found a William Carless b. 1747, all I know is his burial date, that being 15 March 1827 at Tarrington St Michael's Church, Hereford, England. He was 80 when he was buried.
I'm continually researching the Carless family in Herefordshire, England.
I have also found other Carless at Hereford.
Elizabeth Carless b. 1743 buried 30 Mar 1826, of Hereford, age: 83 at Tarrington St Michael.
Elizabeth Carless, b. 1775 buried 23 Aug 1838, of Hereford, age: 63
For all I know these Carless's or Carles's had kids and may have moved away from England, perhaps the US.. I'm still working that out.. If anyone feels they are connected or has any other information. Please email me..
