Hello Robert,
With the info you last posted, do you have any birthdates?, and the area which they resided? I have a few Robert's.. Robert. b. 1844 and his son Robert b. 1863, born in Ledbury, moved up to Lancashire, married a Sarah Ann Booth..

I have also have a Townsend, Florence Spozzi Townshend, married my 1st cousin, 4times removed Joseph Carless b. 1843.. They had 5 kids, one called Florence Carless b. 1880 I believe in Ledbury.

if Samuel was your Grandad we are probably looking at late 1800's - early 1900's..
