I'm looking for info on the family of Christopher KIRCHHOFF (marriage record lists his name as KEREHOFF) who married Catharine TEVENBAUGH on December 21, 1795 in Augusta Co., VA. They had the following children:

1. John Frederick: b. Dec. 26, 1796; d. Jan, 17, 1855; m. Eva AILOR, March 1823, moved to Lewisburg, Ohio
2. Henry: b. 1797; d. 1825. single
3. Jacob: b. 1799, moved to Lewisburg, Ohio
4. Elizabeth: b. 1801; m. William CRAIG, moved to Lewisburg, Ohio
5. Mary Catherine: b. 1803; d. Feb. 20, 1860 m. Patterson CRAIG, Sept. 18, 1820, moved to Lewisburg, Ohio
6. George R.: b. 1805, m. Charlotte BOLLINGER
7. Solomon: b. 1807, m. Mary GRIFFITH Oct. 3, 1832
8. Ludwig (Lewis): b. April 30, 1810; d. Nov. 22, 1893

I have located the Craig families along with a Jacob CARAHOOF in Logan Co., OH in the 1830s and 1840s. Jacob d. in Logan Co. in 1846. I would like to find proof that he was the son of Christopher KIRCHHOFF/KEREHOFF and Catharine TEVENBAUGH/DIEFENBACH.
