My father-in-law, Richard K. Brugler, has done extensive research on the Brugler Family, dating back to Andreas Bruchli (Brugler) b. 1570 in Wigoltingen, Switzerland. All Bruglers are descendents of Heinrich Brugler,great grandson of Andreas, who was in Palatine immigration of 1709. Accd. to his information, Ann Kurkhoff (b. 1814, d. 1874) married Samuel Brugler (b. 1813, d. 1865) who was the son of James Brugler and Anna Hagermann. They had 7 children, the first of whom was Jared (b. 1838). He can trace Samuel (and Jared) back to Andreas.
